A child of the 80s, Matt grew up adoring the arts. His earliest memories of Musicals come from watching VHS tapes while visiting his Nan on weekends in Wales, and his first experiences with live theatre came from the Panto’s he would attend as a child. As a singer / songwriter, Matt did try his hand at performing in Musicals while attending high school in Canada. Performances in Grease, Guys and Dolls and The Wizard Of Oz took his love of the art form to a new level, as well as his respect for the incredible performers on the stage.
During his 20 years in broadcasting, Matt has hosted many genres of shows. Working on stations featuring Rock, Country, Hip Hop and even talk radio where he’s gained his experience, but he’s never been able to fully embrace his love for musical theatre… until now!
Matt is delighted to be joining the team at Box Office Radio, and hopes you’ll join him for the Backstage Dance Party, Saturdays from 10-Midnight!
