Hello! I am Harrison, one of Box Office Radio’s youngest presenters, at 18! I am very enthusiastic about all thing’s theatre, coming towards the end of my A level courses in Drama and Theatre Studies, Film Studies and Photography, soon to be heading off to drama school at LMA in Liverpool to study Musical Theatre!

I love performing and it is my dream to become an actor on the stages of the West End and across the UK! I got into theatre because I realised how much I loved creating, devising, and performing pieces and it really made me appreciate how incredible the theatre is. I remember watching Peter Pan Goes Wrong when it was broadcast on the BBC One at Christmas, which made me fall in love with my favourite theatre company, Mischief Theatre. My all-time favourite is The Play That Goes Wrong, and I loved getting the opportunity to go and meet my heroes, the original cast, in Manchester. Aside from theatre and performing, I love all things Christmas (24/7) and my hobbies include filmmaking, cross-stitching cooking, and watching film and TV (favourites films including Inception, Man Up and the famous Cornetto Trilogy, and TV including I’m a Celebrity and Taskmaster, but I’m always binge-watching different sitcoms on repeat too!)

In training, roles I have played include Edmund in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest, Fat Sam and Knuckles in Bugsy Malone, Winston Smith in 1984 and The Maniac in Accidental Death of an Anarchist. Currently, I am playing Bobchinsky in The Government Inspector at the Loft Theatre in Leamington Spa. I am also a keen script-writer, having written plays called Killer at the Kelpies (a comedic farce murder mystery), I’ll Have What He’s Having (a prequel to the song ‘Copacabana’ by Barry Manilow) and currently in the process of developing and adapting different scripts!

I will be playing some of my favourite songs and sharing my love of theatre during my show, “In the Spotlight”, from 2pm-4pm every Saturday. Not only will I be joined by some fabulous celebrity guests, but each week, I award “Horsley’s Hotshot” to someone inspirational from the world of Musical Theatre, and we will also play a game of “Connect 4”, where you can try to guess the link between four songs in the show!
