Born and raised in Cardiff, Georgie Vanderkolk-Pellow has been an avid theatre goer from a young age having been introduced to musicals by her great aunt. Since then, she has seen many shows and even secured a job at her local theatre, furthering her love for musicals.
She is also involved in amateur dramatics and has recently performed in shows such as American Idiot, the Green Day musical at the Newbridge Memo and Quiz by James Graham at the Sherman Theatre.
She is a great lover of radio, having been involved with Radio Platfform, Wales’ first youth-led radio station since the pandemic and through them, has had many opportunities including interviewing local artists at Focus Wales, a music festival based in Wrexham and hosting her own show.
In her spare time, she can either be found at a concert, working in her local library or reviewing books, (a woman of many talents!).
She is very pleased to be part of the Box Office Radio team and hopes you enjoy listening to her on Saturday mornings from 9am!
