Always passionate about Performing Arts, in 2013 taking the plunger and studying for a Graduate Diploma in Performing Arts (Stage and Screen) literally changed my life!
My first venture into musical theatre was the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Salon Varieties theatre in Spain. Since then, I have has been in lots of shows including Fiddler on the Roof, Jesus Christ Superstar, Bad Girls the Musical and Kinky Boots. Later this year (and into 2025) I will be involved with productions of Sweeney Todd and Evita!
But, having been bitten by the theatre bug, you wont just find me on stage…in the past 20 years I have also worked extensively backstage and FoH, as a producer, director, PR, lighting/sound tech, stage crew, theatre board member and most recently DSM.
Outside theatre I am also an active member of my local Saffron Walden music scene singing with two bands, as well as performing as a soloist!
Yet despite my busy life, being a presenter on Box Office Radio is still a highlight because I get to play so many fantastic songs from stage and screen, plus I love researching and sharing my knowledge and passion for theatre and film with the listeners!
