Beverley’s day job is as a Secondary School Teacher and Head of Department. When not at her day job she is the Chairperson of her local Musical Theatre Group in Swansea, and loves performing with them as part of the company. She has been a member since 1999, as a part of the ensemble as well as playing a variety of roles from Margaret the Drunk in 9 to 5 to Mother Superior in Sister Act. She has also performed with other Amateur Groups in and around Swansea. Her favourite role she’s ever played is Marmee in Little Women.
Her passion for Musical Theatre doesn’t just stop there, she goes to London as many times as she can to see a variety of shows and visits tours that make their way to South Wales, as well as supporting local amateur groups in and around Swansea.
Beverley is also a regular attendee of the Noda Theatre Summer School and has attended every year since 2008, which has also added to her knowledge and love of the world of Musical Theatre, as well as the wonderful opportunity to work with industry professionals and work on her acting, singing and dancing skills.
Beverley has a love of a lesser known and more obscure musical and enjoys actively seeking out shows that very few people may have heard of, as well as newly written shows, and one off songs by new musical theatre composers. She loves being a part of the Box Office Radio Team and sharing her passion for all things Musical Theatre.
