Ben Winter

Ben is from St Albans in Hertfordshire and has already had a busy and successful career teaching at many prestigious stage schools including Stagecoach, Pauline Quirke Academy, Jigsaw Performing Arts, Beatz Dance Academy and Glow Performing Arts and he loves and enjoys working children of all ages no matter their level or experience, seeing their confidence grow and having fun in a non pressure environment.
His own training was at Arts Ed from 2019-2020 and after the Covid lockdowns, and in the subsequent years, he performed as Jimmy in White Christmas (Alban Arena), Mark in A Chorus Line (Alban Arena) and as a cast member in On The Town (Alban Arena), Little Shop of Horrors (Milton Keynes Theatre), Carrie the Musical and 9 to 5: The Musical.
Ben doesn’t restrict himself to musical theatre and has also performed in plays including Romeo and Juliet (Abbey Theatre), The Wardrobe (Barn Theatre), The Tempest (Abbey Theatre) and, many years ago, in the St Albans Gang Show from 2009 until 2014.
Ben continues to perform regularly in both local and professional theatres and has been seen at The Royal Albert Hall, Watford Palace Theatre, Milton Keynes Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre, The Alban Arena, His Majesty’s Theatre and The Actor’s Church in Covent Garden to name just a few….
Ben is delighted to be joining Box Office Radio and will be sharing his love of classic musical theatre showtunes every Sunday from 5pm.
