Mel has been a freelance translator and proofreader for most of her career, having studied languages at Durham University. She is also the founder of cancer care pack charity Touch of Sparkle which she runs as a volunteer in her spare time as well as being Head of Fundraising for Bright Horizon Hamster Rescue.
Mel takes a trip to the West End whenever she can and is a regular in the audience at local theatre performances. She began singing lessons as a hobby in lockdown and continues to enjoy learning classics and new songs.
Mel is excited to be joining the team at Box Office Radio, can’t wait to play some fabulous showtunes for you and hopes you will join her for some Tuesday lunchtime tunes from 12-2.
