Whether your child loves to act, sing, or dance — or simply needs a fun, confidence-boosting activity — there’s a performing arts school to suit every personality and stage of development. Both Drama Kids and Stagecoach offer inspiring, supportive environments where children and young people can explore their creativity, build lifelong skills, and have a fantastic time doing it.
Below, explore what makes each school unique and how they help students shine — both on stage and in life.
Drama Kids
At Drama Kids, every child is celebrated for who they are. We believe that every student deserves the chance to shine, no matter their level of confidence or ability. That’s why there are no auditions — every child is welcome and encouraged to take part.
Our classes are designed to be nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring, allowing students to develop at their own pace while discovering the joy of self-expression. Through drama, children build essential life skills such as confidence, communication, teamwork, and creativity — all while having fun!
Our talented and energetic teachers create a dynamic, engaging learning environment where every lesson is filled with excitement, imagination, and laughter. In each hour-long session, students explore creative movement, voice work, and acting exercises that help them grow both socially and emotionally.
Age Groups
We offer tailored drama classes for all age groups:
Early Years (3–4 years) – A playful introduction to drama through storytelling, movement, and fun! Lower Primary (5–8 years) – Building confidence and creativity through games, role-play, and teamwork.
Upper Primary (9–11 years) – Developing performance skills, imagination, and self-assurance on and off the stage.
Youth Theatre (12–18 years) – Advanced acting and performance skills for teens looking to express themselves and grow as performers.
At Drama Kids, every child is given the spotlight — and the confidence to use it!
Stagecoach Performing Arts was born from a simple but powerful idea. When Stephanie Manuel found herself juggling multiple classes for her son, she envisioned a place where kids could sing, dance, and act — all under one roof. Alongside David Sprigg, she made that vision a reality, and Stagecoach was founded.
From the very beginning, Stagecoach has been about more than just performance — it’s about confidence for life. As parents began to see the impact, Stagecoach schools quickly grew across Surrey and beyond.
At the heart of every class is a blend of singing, dancing, and acting, taught through a carefully structured curriculum that builds performing arts skills while nurturing communication, teamwork, resilience, and self-belief. These are skills that last a lifetime.
Stagecoach offers a variety of classes for different age groups, known as “Stages,” each tailored to suit children and young people at different stages of their development. No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
Using a flexible Educational Framework, our teachers adapt lessons to the interests and abilities of their students, making every session relevant, engaging, and fun.
And it’s not just for kids — Stagecoach also offers adult classes at select schools, perfect for anyone aged 18+ who wants to rediscover their love of the performing arts.
At Stagecoach, we don’t just teach performance — we teach life skills through the arts.
