From a young age, Markus has always been theatrical, and his parents always encouraged it. His Dad turned the living room into a puppet theatre and his Mam turned the sandpit into a fancy dress box!

Leaving school and going to study acting at college was a natural step for Markus. He has toured professionally in several children’s theatre shows, hosted online interactive bingo, presented kids YouTube channels Rocky Unwraps Toys and Superhero TV and took the lead in productions of Avenue Q and Shrek as well as playing Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. Also, when he’s not on stage as Markus he is as his drag persona Lillian Larkin (@thelillianlarkin).

With years of radio presenting experience, Markus is so excited to be a part of the team at Box Office Radio bring you the best of the West End, Broadway and Beyond ever Monday from 6-8pm
