I have been involved in radio for over 30 years in one form or another. As for musicals and straight drama, I have enjoyed these for the last twenty years. I love the way in which you can look at a part and immerse yourself in the character.
Some of the favourite acting parts I have played include Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Mike Connors in High Society, Koko in Hot Mikado and Billis in South Pacific. Also others not so enjoyable.
Musical theatre is a big part of my life. Every tune tells a story and each song fits nicely in place like a complex jigsaw. A performance that takes the audience on a journey to enlighten, entertain and bring to ‘new life’ to an old show but with a new added twist.
I enjoy singing with my wife Alison and entertaining at festivals, private functions and residential homes.
