RVT (Remote Voice Tracking) software update

WINDOWS USERS

The new RVT update (6.10) has been issued by Station Playlist. We ask that you update as soon as you can. You can download the update directly from here.

FOR MAC USERS WITH CATALINA (10.15.4) OR LATER

1. Unzip the .app file to the Applications folder.
2. Open Terminal,enter the following commands and press Enter.
   xattr  -drs  com.apple.quarantine  /Applications/SPLRemoteVT610.app/
3. Close Terminal. Right-click the .app and select Open, then select Run or Allow. This is only required once and then double-click will open in future.

 

Once updated please check the following settings.

You are recording on MP3 format and not OGG

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Open your recording device and click options.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Check your audio settings are the same as these below.

1. Volume fade at anywhere between -8 and -10
2. Mic volume at approx.. 90%
3. Channel – Left/right mono
4. Bit rate – to at least 192kbs (higher if possible)
