David Robinson

'How tickled I am' to say I am currently writing a new play about my comedy hero Sir Ken Dodd, which will hopefully stumble on to the stage one day very soon. “ What a beautiful day !” I have been acting and writing for over thirty years and plan to get it right before too long.

I have been taking shows up to the Edinburgh Fringe most years for the last decade or so, tackling characters such as Stan Laurel and Neville Chamberlain. What a double act they were. I have been a theatre reviewer for a number of years, and I’m very excited to be able to join the wonderful team at Box Office Radio, and to open up the Musical Magazine every week.

I live in Dudley in the West Midlands, just round the corner from the Peaky Blinders.
