Callum Pepper (Pepp)
For over 20 years I have been a lover of the world of make believe, producing my own home-made films and stories from the age of 10, plus being an avid fan of comedy trying, at least to raise a smile on people's faces.
I've spent many years involved in local theatre groups building up my stage experience featuring in productions of Return to the Forbidden Planet, Hamlet, and His Dark Materials. I am a fan of Musical theatre, but my forté is drama performance and plays.
For seven years I was heavily involved in Spalding's (Lincolnshire) Community Radio Station, Tulip Radio. During my time there I assisted in the day to day running of the station, Outside Broadcasting Events, provided Technical Support and Community Event Managements.
For a number of years, I held my own show (Showtime) dedicated to the world of Musicals, TV & Film songs.
While training at the University of Lincoln for a degree in Drama, I budded up with a fellow lover of comedy and created our very our double act 'Sellers & Pepp'. creating an array of silly audio & visual sketches, inspired by such greats as Morecombe and Wise, Sir Ken Dodd, Bob Monkhouse and many more.
For a year we worked together, sadly not as a double act, but Bluecoat entertainers for Pontins Holiday Parks, "Hi-de-Hi Campers", once again hoping to raise a laugh and bring a smile to campers faces.
As a fan of audio production and radio, during the 2020 lockdown I produced my own podcast series "Pepp's Pods" (exploring "old skool" TV shows, and I am currently producing a new series for release this year.
Last year (2021) having missed presenting on radio for several years, due to life weaving his magical wand over the last 4 years, I presented 'Pepp's Showtime' for an online station, Reach On-Air, once again bringing the world of make believe to a new audience.
I'm delighted to be joining the team at Box Office Radio.
